START Â SYSTEM CONTROL Â MANAGEMENT Â SERVICES

• Close the “SimonsVoss CommNode Server” service

• Close the “Advantage Database Server” service

5.1.2 BACKING UP THE DATABASE

PROCEDURE

• Copy the “lmsdb” folder to another data carrier

NOTE

• The database server must be closed

• The lsmdb.add file must be in the folder

• Compare the folder path with the setup path in the LSM

5.2. UPDATING THE SERVER

5.2.1 REMOVING OLEDB

PROCEDURE

START Â SYSTEM CONTROL Â SOFTWARE

• Select “Advantage OLEDB Provider”

• Remove

• YES

5.2.2 INSTALLING OLEDB

PROCEDURE

START Â RUN

• Enter and confirm the command

[CDROM]:\ Software\LSM_3.0_xxx\ADS\9.10.0.xx\oledb.exe

in the “Open” dialogue field
